At Fiskastykkið, there’s a little something for everyone: fish, vegetables, and homemade bread. Everything is made from scratch with care and heart. Additionally, you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee, tea, homemade cakes, and desserts daily.
Everything we serve is inspired by the local surroundings—what our ancestors ate, what was available, and what the sea and land could provide. Local history also plays a role: when Sandavágur became a fishing village a century ago and began exporting salt cod, which later became a renowned delicacy in Mediterranean countries. Our dishes are thus a fusion of local ingredients and international culinary traditions.
